About CARES

CARES day is a morning session packed with lots of information.  It is a wonderful opportunity to meet other new incoming students.  The agenda includes presentations from the different coordinators here at the Student Academic Support Center.  There are ample opportunities to ask questions!


What To Bring

  • Driver's License or government issued photo identification
  • $25 cash or check for ID processing fee
  • Public Safety form filled out (that you received in the mail)
  • Download "Foreign Language Placement" form, filled out
  • Download "Religious Education Experience" form, filled out
  • Confirmation email received after submitting online reservation form

  • Overview of Testing Services
  • Writing sample to be completed by all participants

  • Students tentative Fall 2010 schedules are distributed

  • Testing Services (for selected students)
  • Upon completion of the program, the afternoon is free to have lunch in the Raven's Nest
  • Optional tours of the campus are available
